Stage 2 Remap & Performance Tuning Our Stage 2 ECU remap is engineered for modified turbocharged vehicles fitted with supporting hardware such as upgraded intake systems, high-flow downpipes, performance exhausts and improved intercooling. Stage 2 tuning is designed to fully utilise increased airflow and reduced exhaust restriction. This is not just a higher-output Stage 1 file — it is a comprehensive recalibration tailored to vehicles with the correct hardware in place. What’s Adjusted in a Stage 2 Calibration? A proper Stage 2 remap includes revision of: Boost control strategies Fueling and injection targets Ignition timing (petrol engines) Torque limiters and load control Lambda targets and thermal protection These changes allow the engine to safely take advantage of improved breathing while maintaining controlled operating parameters. The result is: Stronger mid-range torque Sharper throttle response More sustained top-end performance Smoother power delivery under load Performance gains are meaningful and usable — not inflated peak figures. Hardware & Vehicle Requirements Stage 2 requires correctly installed supporting modifications and a mechanically healthy engine and drivetrain. Suitable fuel quality is essential. Increased performance increases mechanical load on the turbocharger, clutch and gearbox. We assess vehicle suitability before proceeding and do not install Stage 2 software on unsuitable vehicles. Our Approach Our calibrations prioritise controlled boost targets, safe air-fuel ratios, exhaust temperature management and drivetrain protection. The goal is maximum safe performance on standard internals with long-term reliability in mind.
